Comodo Multi Domain Wildcard
Secure unlimited subdomains for various domains in a go
Comodo Multi Domain Wildcard is a very special certificate issued by Comodo that will allow any individual or company to obtain a SSL Certificate capable of securing all subdomains of various arbitrary domains.
Securing your website with Comodo Multi Domain Wildcard will enable you to protect all the information being exchanged, so that no one in the same network will be able to intercept and steal personal or confidential details.
PLEASE NOTE: By default, this product will secure 2 wildcard domains (for example: *.yourdomain.com and *.domain.com) and must have a non-wildcard domain (for example: yourdomain.com) listed as the base domain, or Common Name. To secure more than 2 wildcard domains, please purchase additional domains (SANs).
Comodo Multi Domain Wildcard certificates are technically identical or stronger, come with more value-add features and cost less than those offered by competitors.
Featuring high strength 2048 bit digital signatures and unlimited server licenses, Comodo Multi Domain Wildcard provides a cost effective solution for companies looking to secure online transactions for their websites and services.
More importantly, your users are assured that it is safe to do business with you because their sensitive information is encrypted and remains private.

Save more choosing a longer validity period
Choosing a longer validity period for your certificate will allow you not only to save money but also time. In fact, choosing a longer period certificate will save you the hassle to complete the certificate validation process every year as well as save the time to re-install a new certificate at each renewal.
This certificate is available to any individual and it doesn’t require any paperwork in order to be issued. Issuance typically happens in just a few minutes, representing the most chosen type of certificates by privates or very small companies, due to their reduced price and ease of issuance. For medium to large businesses we highly discourage the use of domain validation certificates. Instead, Organization Validation and Extended Validation certificates represents a better suite for both your business and your (potential) customers.
Once your order has been placed and approved, you will need to configure some administrative details of the certificate (i.e. administrative and technical contact details), as well as the domain name that you wish to secure and the domain validation method.
Validation via email address
In order to validate the ownership of your domain, you may choose one of the following email addresses that the Certificate Authority will use to send a verification link to. You will later need to confirm the email address by clicking on the verification link and typing a special code provided in the same email.
List of accepted email addresses @ the domain for which the certificate is being applied:
Additionally, you may specify any email address that our systems are able to get from a WHOIS request for the domain you are applying.
Validation via HTTP/HTTPS
Right after the configuration of your certificate, we will provide you a special file that you will need to place in the root directory of your domain. Such file should be served via HTTP or HTTPS by a webserver and must be available on the Internet publicly.
For instance, assuming the validation file is named 87F494598E849CDBD1314C8239B5C9A1.txt and your domain is www.example.com, you will need to place such file at the address:
